General Donation to
Support SGT’s Programs

A general donation supports the variety of unique and innovative programs that Special Gifts Theatre offers. Special Gifts Theatre is more than a theatre company, all of our programs are based in educational and therapeutic concepts that use the stage as a platform to develop life skills including social skills, speech and language skills, and self confidence. Learn more about our programs by clicking on the drop down menu above. You can indicate if this donation is in honor or memory of someone special on the donation form.

Joshua Joseph Taus Talbot
Financial Assistance Fund

The Joshua Joseph Taus Talbot Financial Assistance Fund was established in memory of a very special boy, the relative of Debbie Taus-Barth and Samantha Hizel, two SGT staff members.  Joshua had an immeasurable impact on not only his family, but everyone he encountered. When Joshua passed away at the age of 14, a financial assistance fund was established to honor the impact and legacy he had. This financial assistance fund benefits SGT students with Down syndrome and other special needs so they are able to receive the educational and therapeutic benefits that the theatre arts provides.

Thanks to the generous support of our donors, we have been able to grow and expand to serve more students, families, and communities. Most recently, we expanded to Libertyville.
