SGT’s Traveling Troupe, Student Council, and Ambassador Program feature our students with special needs as well as peer mentors/ buddies and are designed to take the skills learned in our theatre programs out into the community.
Our Traveling Troupe Program, which features our students with special needs as well as mentors, is designed to showcase the talents and abilities of our children in a larger setting – out in the community. It not only raises awareness about SGT but also helps us achieve our mission of eradicating stereotypes that place limitations on our children. We are working hard to ensure that these students have every opportunity to perform out in the community.
Any SGT student or mentor is invited to join the Traveling Troupe and perform previously learned repertoire at various community events! It not only raises awareness about SGT but also helps us achieve our mission of eradicating stereotypes that place limitations on individuals with special needs.
